Happy Birthday to me! :-)

Well today is the day I rack up another year... 34... Seriously? I am 34? Although sometimes I feel like my body is more that of an 80yr old, creaking and cracking as I walk up and down the stairs. Inside I don't feel a day over... I can't even pick an age. I feel no different then I did 5 years ago, or 10 years ago... or even 15 years ago.. I am happier, more settled in my life but more mature? What does that mean exactly? I still take things way too seriously, but can get seriously carried away and silly when I am with my friends... So that leads me to believe the saying that age is JUST a number... it definitely does not define you... I am enjoying a movie night with my hubby (well he is playing poker on my cell phone) and my DD Katie... we are watching The Princess and The Frog. It is a pretty cute little movie. We are off to my MIL's tomorrow for a little birthday celebration! Yay for cake! :-)

Tonight at 12:01am NEW MOON is released! My DD desperately wants me to make the trip to town to go get it! I have to admit, I am not totally against it! LOL! Some of my friends didn't enjoy New Moon... I however loved it! It was so vivid and just grabbed me from the get go... does this make me 'Team Jacob'? I can't really answer that... I adore them both, which is what has made these books and movies so popular I am sure. A true love triangle at its best... I purchased some digital images from The Greeting Farm, images that bare a strong resemblance to the main characters of these films... I can't wait to make some cards for the crazed Twilight teenagers in my life... and a few of my grown up friends too! LOL! Can you say sparkly vampire?!? Can't wait!

Speaking of creating, I joined the Ribbon Rave 2010 Challenge over at Savvy & Sassy! And completed my first week challenge with time to spare! I found some photos of Sophie that I want to get finished up soon to avoid anything happening to them. They are some of the pictures that I lost from my hard drive & computer when they crashed at the end of last summer... So I started out with these ones... My baby gorilla! Sophie never crawled. She always scooted on her bum, propelling herself forward with her arm. She looked just like a little gorilla. And boy could she ever go fast! Faster then crawling could have gotten her! I loved it. My neice did the same thing. My sister and I came to the conclusion that it must have been the hard floors. We have no carpet in our house so maybe it was just uncomfortable for her? Anyhow it has made some good memories anyway! Here is my first layout for the challenge... what do you think?

Hope you enjoy it... I am off to sip a hot cappucino since I am feeling sickly thanks to my darling children who spread their wealth of germs this week with me! :-) Plus I need to stay awake for midnight! LOL!
